Invest With Us
Candide Group works with families, foundations, and other investors who believe that finance can be transformed from an extractive force to an empowering practice.
Our typical investor is looking to move a minimum of $5M annually into impact investments, and works with us on an ongoing basis to ensure long-term alignment of money and values. We can also serve as a subadvisor to firms seeking to bring more impact onto their platforms.
Some ways people like to work with us include:
Leading the transition to a 100% impact-aligned portfolio across asset classes, focusing on our specialities: debt, private equity, real assets, and innovative new structures — where there are both real capital needs and opportunities for mission-aligned investors to build impactful portfolios. Some portfolios pursue purely risk-adjusted commercial returns, others are seeking to be intentionally redistributive to communities — we are happy to work across this spectrum and try to execute each investment with an eyes-wide-open approach to both impact and financial potential.
Deepening the impact of a current portfolio, by working with us to build portfolios centered on our four impact verticals: Home and Place, Employee Ownership, Climate Justice, Diverse Allocators and Entrepreneurs.
Theory of Change
Community wealth-building, self-determination, and climate resilience require the creative facilitation of capital flow to companies, projects, and funds that center the needs of people from whom wealth has been historically extracted, and lead us to a holistic, intersectional approach to impact investing that focuses on removing structural barriers to a thriving economy.
Finance has often been used as a tool of pain, oppression, and trauma within underserved communities in both the US and Global South. This stems structurally from the short-term focus businesses tend to place on shareholder returns that can be harmful to people and the planet we live on, and encourages theft from future generations.
We believe in a new reality where all communities are able to thrive, sustain and innovate — leveraging finance as a tool of empowerment rather than a weapon of extraction.
